Inside the PST along with all the other Outlook folders.

Thanks for the reply, but I'm not sure what PST is, but I presume that its
the column to the left that contains My shortcuts, if correct, believe me
there is no "Sent Items" folder showing there now--it goes

OUTLOOK TODAY
Calendar
contacts
tasks
notes
deleted items

MY SHORTCUTS
Inbox
Drafts
Journal
Outlook Update

OTHER SHORTCUTS
My Computer
My documents
Favorites

That's it!

Change your View to Folder List.

Hi Newbie,

I can't recall where it is on that version, but I'm sure it's a 'View'
thing. I'm sure Brian knows where it is, I don't why he's chosen not to tell
you. Then again, when I asked a question a few months ago, I got a smart ass
answer too.

Nope. It's a file in your Windows user profile. See this for Outlook file
locations:
http://www.slipstick.com/config/backup.htm . All Outlook folders are
contained in the same file. That file resides in the (hidden) folder
%UserProfile%\Local Settings\Application Data\Microsoft\Outlook. It's name
can be anything you choose, but defaults to "Outlook" or "Personal Folders"
and its file extension is ".pst". So you'll have a file named "Outlook.pst"
or "Personal Folders.pst" in the Outlook folder mentioned above.

I didn't give a "smart ass" answer to "Newbie", but answered his question
directly without leaving out any information I thought is essential. He
didn't ask "how can I see the Sent Items folder in Outlook", he said "where
is the Sent Items folder". The Sent Items folder is obviously in the PST
file. If it's a matter of seeing the folder list, then clicking the line
above the header bar (the one contaiing the current folder name) will show
him his folder list. Right-clicking the Outlook Bar and choosing Outlook
bar Shortcut will allow him to add any folder he chooses to the Outlook Bar.
