where is the symbol for "pi"?

G

G-Man

I usually use the brute force method, i.e., finding it in the character map,
since . To find non-standard characters, I do the following:
Start > Programs > Accessories > System Tools > Character Map
When in the character map, double click on the item you want, then go back
to your document and simply paste. For your Pi symbol, choose the "Symbol"
font in the drop down menu, and you will see the character in the last
position of the 4th row. Hope this helps

Although Character Map works for all Windows programs, the Insert Symbol
dialog in Word (especially recent versions) is much more user-friendly.
