Which 2003 Project?

There is one which sells for under $100 (PN 076-02664)? a one which sells for
over $300 (PN 076-02788)?

They both appear to be called Microsoft Office Project 2003 Standard.

I want to buy a Project manager to operate on a standard issue of XP home.
Can someone tell me the difference between these 2, and if there is other
software required to support the less expensive of the two.

PN 076-02664 is the academic version. Unless you are associated with some
sort of academic institution you will be in violation of the EULA (end user
license agreement). They should have the same functionality, though there
may be some restrictions on upgrades with the academic version.
