which account is being checked?

Since I have two separate email accounts, I am not always sure when I click
Send/Receive Mail which account is being checked. Is there a way I can get
this information to display in the status bar? (Perhaps both are checked at
once even? I don't know unless I'm prompted for a password, which isn't
always necessary.)
