Which event for Macro?

Hi,
I am opening word document from another application, then replacing
bookmarks and some text. I have a macro AutoOpen which inserts sections and
protects sections of the document.
The problem is as sson as I open the document, AutoOpen macro fires and
creates sections and protects them. Once this happens I cannot replace the
bookmarks and text.
Is it possible to for this macro to be run once I finish replacing
text/bookkmarks etc. OR do I have to use different event

Thanks in Advance

If your macro is replacing the bookmarks and text, have the commands that do
that before the command that protects the document.

Why don't you unprotect the protected document, do what you need to do, and
then re-protect the document?
