I am currently using a trial version of of outlook 2003.
I want to know if I should purchase the full version or purchase Outlook for
Xp?
I currently am using XP Professional.
Thanks for your input.

From an extremely biased POV, I would get Office/Outlook 2003 for its many
improvements over prior versions, not least being its spam handling, the
reading pane and search folders.

Jud--

If you *have Office XP Pro* you already own and can use Outlook XP. It's
one of the applications. So you wouldn't need to buy that. If by your
ambigious statement you mean the OS XP Pro, then of course if you want
Outlook buy the latest. I don't understand though what you mean by "the
full version" unless you're using those words to contrast to your trial.

And while there are some feature differences in Outlook 2003 that are really
minor overall, I don't think at this point in time you have compelling
reason to buy OL 03 particularly since the next Office is not that far away.

You ought to look into Student and Teacher version of Office which is on
sale say at a Costco or Frye's for about $149 and on the web just Google for
$129. That way you would have use of the four newest Office apps available
as part of MOS 03.

Chad Harris
