Which slides use the most memory?

Is there a quick way to find out which slides use up the most memory? I
recently had to break up a large PowerPoint slideshow to email it. It would
have helped if I could quickly identify the largest slides and modify or
simply delete those slides.

In the end I had to slipt the slideshow into two equal number of slides and
check which set was largest. After repeating this a few times with the
results I eventually narrowed it down to about 4 very large slides.

Tony,

Generally the ones with something pasted (from another application) on them.

or the ones with a massive (lots of pixels) on them.

In the old days, with a slow PC, you could tell which was the memory hog, by
how long it took to display when editing your slides, a Page Down - delay
before the slide displayed - would show the culprit

full guidance..
Why are my PowerPoint files so big? What can I do about it?
