I want to use the handwriting recognition software that comes with Office
2003, but want to use it only in Word.
Which is the minimum version of office I need to get if I want to use the
handwriting recognition?

I have already installed the software on one pc but need to get another copy
of office for another pc. The version on this pc is office 2003 pro.
Obviously I do not want to pay out for office pro if the software comes with
the basic edition of office, so which edition do I need to buy?

I already have the handwriting recognition working on one pc but this has
office 2003 professional edition and I want to use the handwriting
recognition on another PC which does not yet have office.

Obviously I do not want to have to pay for the professional edition if the
handwriting recognition comes with the basic edition, so my question is,
which edition of office 2003 do I need to buy to get the handwriting
recognition?

Word 2003 is the same in any version of office suite.

Is the handwriting recognition part of word or part of office?
When I installed it, it was one of the office shared office features, not a
word specific feature
