Why am I have complications with Office 97 loading on to a Micros.

Because I am cheap, I purchased a system that did not come with MS Office
loaded on it. I had purchase MS Office 97 Professional years ago for my
previous system and was determined to use it before I paid for MS Office
Professional 2003. After loading Office 97 it appears that one Word, Excel,
and Access loaded properly. Powerpoint, Outlook and maybe some other small
applications did not appear on my hard drive. Is this a fixable situation or
is it hopeless and I just need to save up to purchase MS Office 2003.

MoWebSpike,
Actually you probably made the best choice in not purchasing your system
with an oem install of Office. To date it's best to have your very own
installation cd(s).
If you are running Windows XP sp2 this could be your problem on installing
Office 97.
Do a search here:

or on the appropriate Google group for information on problems encountered
installing Office 97 on Windows XP.
Your version is a qualifying product to purchase an upgrade to Office 2003,
