Why are indents missing when pulling up document from WP9 into Wo.

We used to be able to pull up a document from WP 5.1 or Word Perfect 9 into
Word and all the formatting would be as it was in the other program. We got a
new computer, reinstalled Word and none of the formatting for indents is
coming over when opening a document from the other programs.
