Hello!
I have Microsoft Word 2002, as part of Works Suite. I write my journal in
Word, and have done so for years.
One of the reasons that I've liked using Word for my journaling is because I
can put pictures in the text. I enjoy doing that. I've also made my own
journaling templates.
Well, the last several weeks, my 2004 journal has developed a weird glitch
where all the image files, no matter what format they are, that I've placed
there over the entire year have suddenly disappeared, to be replaced by a
white square the size of the image with a big red X in the middle.
When I started a new journal for 2005, I purposely used a different
template, one that I've had for a couple years, and started it on a new Zip
disk. I put in a couple pictures yesterday and within a few hours they were
gone, and there was that freakin' X again!
I have run several separate virus scans- different brands even- and they all
say there's nothing wrong.
What is going on here!?
