why cant i change font

Created a document in MS Pub 2000 using MARKETPRO font. Want to change font to

Arial. When I do I get little boxes where letters should be. E-med file to another
PC. Same problem.

Both PC's use XP Pro and Publ. 2000.

Other than re-typing entire doc, has anyone found a solution to this problem?

Hoping in the time that has passed, the solution has been found.

In older versions of Publisher anyway you can save any document as
plain text ASCII

Choose [save as]

check the [save all text as file] box at the bottom

then choose [plain text] in the "Save as" drop down menu.

Then you can import it into a new empty document and go from there.
