Why cant i install any office products running xp home?

Hello i am having trouble installing microsoft office 2000 onto my computer
which in microsoft xp home edition. It always asks for the xp proffesional
service pack.Was wondering if maybe there are certain editions of office that
i can only use with xp home???

Office 97 and later should run on Windows XP. What does the
error message say EXACTLY?
