why cant i install office home on desk Pc after installing on lap

Unable to install office home and student 2007 program on desk pc after
installing program on home laptop which is used for school. Dont think I
should have to pay again to install at home. Help, any insight on this issue??

What does "unable to install" MEAN? Please provide us with a LOT more
detail about what happens when you try.
Include the OS and service pack level of the desktop you are trying to
install on.
Also tell us whether the version of Office you have is OEM or Retail...

Hi if this is a full copy of Office, then you just have to ring
Microsoft and they should allow you to install it.

I believe you are allowed to install on a PC and Laptop at home.

If it's a retail version of Home and Student then it can legally be
installed on THREE machines.
We need the OP to tell us what "unable to install" really means....
