Why can't I see a .POT file that I saved in the Template Folder?

application data\microsoftWhen you "I saved to the template folder" do you
mean saved from ppt as a pot file or you downloaded it and put it in the
template folder in Office?

Third party templates should go in the templates folder at Docs &
settings\your name\application data\microsoft

Also it would help if you put the question not just in the subject line
because many browsers cannot answer "blank " questions
