Why can't I use radio button for xsd choice?

Hi,

I have a xsd schema-based form I created in InfoPath, which includes a
choice. I would like to make it easy for my users to choose which part of the
form they would like to fill using a radio button (to choose between the
parts that are defined as choice in the schema) but InfoPath wouldn't let me
add the radio buttons... I keep getting that message that tells me I can't
add controls that are not part of the schema... well, they way I see it, a
radio button is much more easy to use than that choice button to the left of
the standard choice which lets you replace it with the other one.

Is there any way to use radio buttons in a choice the way I want?

Thanks, /U

1) Drag and drop the schema element onto the form that you want to use
as radio button.

2) Right click on the control and select popup menu -> Change to ->
Option Button.

3) View control properties and set the "Value when selected".

4) Optionally, select "This button is selected by default".

5) Repeat the above steps for other values of the radio buttons.

Hth,

Yeah, thats how I thought it would work. The problem is that the "change to"
menu in the popup does not include an option button. In fact, it does not
offer any options att all. I'm working with InfoPath 2003 - is that something
that is only available on 2007?

Thanks, /U
