Why data range report from pool of MSProject2003 give wrong dates

I am trying to create a resourse usage and work report from pool file of 10
projects. Using "data range" option and choosing certain dates doesn't result
the required time period. Why and How?

Welcome to this Microsoft Project newsgroup

Are you talking abour viewing or printing? What version opf Project are you
using?

For printing, the date range is selectable from within the File/Print
dialog.
