why do all my files open in one window?

all the files are opened in one window, i can't put all the files in the
desktop.

here is my problem:when you open a file in word, the open another file, you
get two files, and two windows. Each world in it's own window, just like you
open two IE boroweres. But powerpoint puts all the open files in one main
window, i opened two files, but only had one window.

This is by design. Depending on what you need you could try windows > arrange
or maybe have a look at:
"Show two instances of PowerPoint"

It's really a strange situation. I can open two files in two windows in my
PC, but can't do this in my laptop, and i use the same setup to install
office in both computers.
I did what you say, but it's can't solve my problem.
Anyway, thanks a lot!
