Why does my Publisher 2003 Web Site, when published to the Web, C.

Another question like this has been reported. Just wanted everyone to know
that this is NOT an isolated case.

I am finding that with Netscape, the Web Site works fine but no music is
heard. When Explorer is used EVERYONE that uses the site is finding that the
Web Site is NOT stable. An Explorer ERROR Display appears stating that
Internet Explorer(IE) has found and error and must close down. Then a MEMORY
error Display appears for IE. This is so unfortunate knowing the amount of
time we all have spent on these sites. To experience the problem first hand
go to the web site.

www.aci.on.ca\~ericmac I will try to leave the data there until April
11th.

If anyone has any solutions, it would be nice if they could be shared.

Cheers,

John-Paul

Thank you for forwarding the problem to Microsoft David. I would be very
interested to here what Microsofts conclusion is for this problem. I am
wondering if there is a micro-code patch for the ISP provider, or Explorer
and/or Publisher. I do not think this and isolated incident. For me, this
problem has taken place from the start with Publisher 2003. Again, the site
runs fine when viewing it locally using Explorer. It is AFTER you upload
your Web Site to your ISP provider that the problem occurs. Something is
LOST. That is why I am wondering if there is an ISP Server Microcode fix or
is it when Publisher creates the condensed version when you take the option,
“Publish to the Web...†where the actual error is created?

Take care,

John-Paul

U P D A T E:
I moved the web site from a Unix Appache Host platform to a Microsoft NT
Host platform. Problem has gone away.

Maybe it would be an idea for Microsoft to recommend a Host Platform
Operating System.
