Why does Outlook freeze when it "looses" the Exchange Server?

My Outlook is freezing when it looses the connection to the Exchange server.
The connection is lost due to the bad implementation of wireless network in
Microsoft Windows XP (which drops the connection and assings it again when
searching for new "better" connections).

It's ok for me to loose the connection for a couple of seconds, but Outlook
shall not freeze because of this. I can't do anything such as reading old
mails, resort mail order etc.

Windows XP implementation of Wireless is not at fault - it is probably your
wireless card/WAP having a problem with how XP handles Wireless connections.

As to why Outlook freezes when it looses connection, it cannot continue
working until it has had a chance to try to reestablish the connection, and,
when it fails, goes to offline mode.
