Why does Outlook hang since Norton Systemworks 2005 loaded?

Used Upgrade Office Standard Edition 2003. Internet access was fine. Then
loaded Norton Systemworks 2005. Can get internet connectin OK but when I try
and use Outlook 2003 to download mail it hangs the enitre system when i am
trying to browse mail or write mail. I'm using Windows XP.

Disable the Antivirus scanning of email.
