Why does Outlook not recognize change in password?

I have an Outlook 2001 running on Win2K, and Outlook 2003 on Win XP. When I
changed an email password in email accounts, my ISP does not recognize the
password. I can access the mail from the web, but neither Outlook version
will work. I have already tried the Registry deletion solution proposed by
Microsoft for unsaved passwords without success.

You can only change your email account password by visiting
the support web site of your ISP and accessing the Account Management
System or by calling them directly.

Sorry, I already changed it on my ISP, and I can access via their web mail.
What I cannot do is to get Outlook to change its password on those accounts
so that it will download the mail to my computers.

Sorry to bother you. I discovered a setup mistake by not entering in full the
email address and the user name. Outlook filled the first part of the email
address for me, and I thought that was enough. It turns out I needed the full
domain name in addition to the user name. Fixed now!
