Why does picture inserted in Word doc print as a solid black box?

I successfully imported a jpeg into a Word doc. When I print the page on
which the jpeg resides, it prints as a solid black box instead of the actual
jpeg image. How do I get the jpeg image to print correctly? Pls help.

Hi aannucci,

The problem may be due to a setting you're using. Go to
Tools|Options|Compatibility and make sure the option to 'Print colors as
black on noncolor printers' is unchecked.
