Why does Project 2000 ask for XP CD?

Everytime I install MS Project 2000 on a PC, I keep getting asked to place XP
CD SP2 into the PC. I have SP2 on the PC and I always copy over the I386
folder to the C:\. It is more of a nuisance than anything else. Is there a
way around this?
