Why doesn't my preview show in the hyperlink menu?

As I applied hyperlinks in my presentation, it stopped showing the previews
in the hyperlink menu. I have found that the hyperlink will not work without
it. I can go through 'action settings' and apply a successful hyperlink, but
I really need the customized tool tip along with the link.

Are you trying to link to a slide with a comma in the title? That is
usually the culprit for hyperlinks not working. Get rid of the comma, and
you should be able to preview and link to the slide.

If you really want the comma, then copy the title area on the slide. Drag
the original off the viewable area of the slide. Remove the comma from
the original and keep it on the copy (the one that will actually show on
the screen). Then you can have your comma and link it, too.
