Why is my MSP file marked as modified when no changes were applied

I have found that when I open an MSP file to review a plan and subsequently
close it, the file modified date/time is changed to current date/time even
though I have not applied any updates.

This also happens when I have made a change and choose not to save it, yet
again the file modified date/time is updated.

Anyone know why?

Check Menu: Tools/Options, Tab: Save , and see if you are doing
automatic saves.
