Why is my summary slide button ghosted?

S

Shelley

I received a presentation, which I have saved and edited. I am trying to
create a table of contents slide that will link to custom shows, and have
created the necessary custom shows. But, when I go to create the summary
slide the button is ghosted except for when I click on just one slide in the
presentation. What could be the problem and how might I fix it?

Shelley,
In order for the summary slide button to work, every selected slide needs to
have text in the title placeholder. If you don't have a slide title, no
summary entry possible for that slide.

The workaround is to add a title placeholder to the slides that don't have
one and drag it off the edge of the slide. It then won't show, but will be
findable by the summary slide process.
