Why is my Word program locked?

I try to type in a Word Document and it won't let me type anything because it
says my Word Document is locked. I don't know what I did. How do I unlock it?

Have you activated Word? See Help | Activate Product. Or is it a trial
version that has expired? Or is the document protected for forms?
