why is outlook missing object?

I just swithched from outlook express to out look to use with my treo 650.
This is the first time I have even opened outlook on this computer. I have
imported contacts and email but when I try to schedule the send/receive in
the options tab it states. "The operation failed. An object could not be
found."

How do I resolve this issue so that outlook will pull my email in without me
having to manually send/receive?

What do you have set under the Mail Accounts Send/Receive settings? Do you
have send immediately when connected checked? What are your connection
settings (not your connection type)? If you try a new profile, does it work
(control panel-Mail icon-Show profiles-New.)

the (insert latest virus name here) virus, all mail sent to my personal
account will be deleted without reading.
