Why slide transition works correctly in preview, but not in show?

I have a slide with an automatic slide transition setting, 25 seconds after
previous animations. In the preview mode, it works fine, but not in the
presentation. Instead of going to next slide, it returns to the slide from
where it came via a link. Maybe this will help: Slide #45 > linked to #67 >
after animation and auto timing > returns to #45, instead of #68

Have you checked in slide show > set up show that "show slides - all" is
checked?

Yes, "All" slides is checked.

Not sure what the problem was, but I finally got around it by creating
custom shows within presentation.
