Luis_Diaz

Every time I try to run a MS-DOS aplication in Windows XP it won't run it,
always appears this message in my screen, C:\WINDOWS\SYSTEM32\AUTOEXE.NT.
The file is not suitable for running MS-DOS and Microsoft Windows
applications.

I just Want to know why this happen and if it is possible to fix the problem.
Thank you for your help, I Appreciate it.

Because Windows XP doesn't use DOS. You end up using a DOS-emulator. There
are *NO* guarantees that a DOS-application will work on XP.

(I use the analogy of dressing in my husband's clothing, driving his truck,
and using his driver's license. I'm just emulating him. Besides, he has a
beard and I don't...yet.)
