Which version of PowerPoint do you use? Which file format does the ClipArt
have? Please do not try Copy&Paste but download the ClipArt and insert it
with Insert - Image - ClipArt into you slide. Does it print then?

Ute

I have a question in addition to Ute's. Are you printing in color or black
and white?

Hi Jean,

there's a "High quality" option in PowerPoint's printing dialog, try
checking that one and see whether it makes a difference.

Okay, then the problem isn't the black and white settings. :)

changing print options does not work.
I read somewhere about changing the .wmf file to maybe a jpeg? would that
work?

Try printing the presentation on another printer. If it does work there, you
should look for a new version of the printer driver on the manufacturer's
homepage. Additionally make sure, that your version of Office is updated
with the latest Service Packs and updates.

this a Vista thing????

Jean,

Believe it or not, this may be an issue with your video card driver. Video
drivers have been a real bugaboo in Vista and all the manufactures are
updating them rapidly, some as often as once a month. I'd recommend
checking with your video card manufactures site and see if there is a new
driver.

IMHO There are five possible causes for your problem:

- your printer
- your computer
- the clipart
- PowerPoint
- Vista

To eliminate the first two, please try printing on another computer and
another printer. If you are printing on a laser printer, it could make sense
to try an inkjet printer and vice versa. To eliminate the third, please try
to use another clipart. Are you using any transparency?

If you did everything possible to eliminate these causes, you might try
asking, whether there's a bug in PowerPoint or Vista, but those are the two
most unlikely causes.

Best regards,
Ute
