Why would my Products Key be invalid? I have never used my Office.

Thank you. I forget that some people don't (or won't) read anything on the

The only thing that I found on this computer was a small book. And, I was
trying to use the product key from the bottom of the notebook. I can not find
any of the software for this computer.

The owner doesn't seem to know where any of the software went to.

Thank you,

Sandy

You will then need to contact Gateway for replacement software CD and
software key for the product. It may cost. If your company can still find
the box new notebook came in the CDs (if supplied) and the license keys are
likely to be inside a smaller box in the outside box. Many people don't
think to open all the little boxes and look inside the sleeves of cardboard
inside a computer box and software and documentation is frequently lost.

Since the software came with the laptop (OEM) Microsoft won't replace the
key.
