Hello
A client needs to replace a failed computer with a new, which will have
Windows XPPro, but they use an Access97 database system on their Windows 98
computers. I understand that having Office 2003 on the new one will mean
that all the others with Office 97 will no longer be able to use the
database.
Perhaps they could use the Office 97 off the old computer, but does it run
on Windows XPPro?
Or could we convert the database to Access 2000, then run it on all
computers using Access 2000 run-time. Will this work with Windows 97 and
XPPro?
They do not want to change all the computers at the moment.
Thanks
Michael
