That depends, but the answer is probably no.
If it's Office 2003 Basic Edition, you did not get PowerPoint. (There is no
2005 version of Office.)
If you have the full version of PowerPoint 2000 or Office 2000, you can use it,
BUT.... it needs to be installed before the version of Office that came with the
system. So, you would need to uninstall the current version, install PowerPoint
2000, and then re-install the version of Office that came with the system. To
do this you need the installation CD for Office 2003.
The problem with that is that manufacturers like Dell usually do not give you
the installation CDs for the extra software that comes with the system. There
are legal reasons for this. See, they buy the Basic Edition of Office and it's
really really cheap because it is licensed only for a new system that they sell.
Therefore they can't give you a standalone installation CD because you might try
to install it on another system.
