windows installer box

every time I start my computer and periodically while on
the internet a "windows installer box" appears saying
preparing to install (install what????) If i leave it it
then chages to MS BAsic Office box saying "configuring MS
offcie, If I close the box it goes away but only for a
short time and then comes back. Any ideas??
