Windows Mail is part of Windows Vista and is not a separate download.
Windows Mail won't be developed any further anymore or integrated in Windows
7.

Windows Live Mail is the new free mail client from Microsoft which you can
download from http://get.live.com

The newsgroup that you are posting in is for Microsoft Office Outlook which
is included in several Microsoft Office Suites or can be bought separately
at your favorite software vendor.

It's expected that both Outlook 2003 and Outlook 2007 will be supported to
run on Windows 7. Of course the newly to be released Outlook 14 will be able
to run on Windows 7 as well.

Thanks I will just wait for the new 14. Any info on release date? Dave.

It's expected to be released around the same time as Windows 7; late 2009 or
early 2010.
The official BETA program is expected to start around May.
