Windows media audio/video file inserts on a PowerPoint slide

I have placed several wma/v files onto PowerPoint slides and string them
together with other fixed slides. The program plays on my computer which has
XP home and Office 2003. The problem is that I have copied my PowerPoint
presentation onto both disc and memory sticks so that I could share it with
others. The program will not function in any other computer, even when the
operating systems are the same. The program will run until it gets to a slide
that is loaded with an a/v file and then it stops and will not run the a/v
file. I can find no reason why this should be happening.
Can you help?

Did you also copy the media files to the disc or stick? Did you maintain the
same relative addressing? See:
