Does anyone know for sure if Front Page 2002 & 2003 works with the Vista OS?
Thanks!

Heck, you can't even open a JPEG file with Vista!

Could you please explain more about this?
If you don't have Vista yet.... get a mac!
So you like Vista?

I have it on a laptop, but not on the tower. I haven't spent much time
with it, but am interested in hearing what you have to say about it.

I'm curious also. I want buy a new PC to replace my 5 year old model and I
wonder if I should order a new one with XP on the system instead of Vista?
Can that even be done?

As far as I am told, yes. I suppose it depends on where you order/buy it.

On my laptop, I have vista, when I view my FP2003 things are not lined
up as nicely as on my tower. My web site is located on the hard drive
of my tower. Maybe the differences on the laptop are the result of the
screen size, or other laptop features.

In general, I would be interested how people like Vista. Anyone else?
I know this is off-topic for this thread, but nonetheless, I would like
to hear from you.

Here is what I know and also what I have heard....

1. Fact: If you buy a laptop, only Toshiba gives you the Vista disc, the
others do not include it!! So, if you have a HD crash or have to format
your going to have to buy a new operating system. Best Buy is nice enough to
give you the copy for $140 or so.. Isn't that nice of them!

2. Heard: Friend of mine bought not the home but the next one up on the
Vista chain. Had pictures developed from a film camera, they put it on a
disc as all Jpeg Fills. Vista REFUSES to open them because they classify
that as copywritted material. Also heard this from two other people who
bought Vista.

3. Do a Google on Vista problems. Even USA today had an article on how many
problems it has.

4: FACT: Gates is trying to appease the music and movie industry so much
that Vista is basically a limited operating system designed for Hollywood,
period!
Ever wonder why Martha Steward went to Jail but Gates doesn't for all his
illegal activity. FACT: Gates put Netscape and other companies out of
business by putting bugs into the system to sporadically cause a critical
error if you used the competitive programs. This is a FACT, I watch the
hearings. Gates got NOTHING charged against him, why? I personally believe
its because with Windows there is so many areas that law enforcement can
track down stuff that if they get Gates ticked off he will remove those
capabilities. The US Govt knows they need his Operating system and its a
fair trade off in their option.

5: FACT, I'm tired of buying more power, memory just for Gates to change
the desktop images and to provide LESS operation and productivity!

6: FACT, Vista has more security problems than XP !!! Do a Google and see
for yourself.

7; FACT: With a Mac my daughter can do more than I can with PowerPoint and
do it better! Her productivity is increased over my standard pc. I don't
have to buy her antivirus programs, registry programs, or any other of that
crap!

8: If your a gamer your going to HATE VISTA!!!

So, does Mac cost more to buy or less? I say LESS, no upgrades, no memory
increases, no need for a faster processor, power supply, driver updates,
video monitor updates. No need to check out Firefox or other non-M$
programs. Heck, I wish I would have bought one years ago for myself
..........

Do the Google search and investigate this for yourself. I just bought my
daughter a MAC for this very reason, I'm damn tired of Gates manipulation of
the entire computer world, and Mac is the only one who can thumb its nose at
Gates to the degree where it doesn't cause me pain in upgrades.
Thanks for taking the time to put this together and to reply.

I will check some things out.
