No. Windows XP is an operating system. Having it gives you no particular
access to Word or Office. If you don't have Word on your machine, you'll
have to purchase it. T
It is my understanding that you can download the update,
but you wouldn't be able to install the update. If you
are attempting to use the Office Update from Microsoft,
it won't detect that you have the software, therefore it
will not allow you to download any updates. However, you
can download the update by going to the associated KB
article.
