WINPROJ.exe runs in back ground

Hi,

Almost every time I publish something using MS Project 2007, then close the
program, then try and open MS Project, it will not open because the computer
believes it is already running. In order for me to open MS Project 2007 again
either I have to either kill the process (winproj.exe) or restart my laptop.
I am running Windows Vista Business. Any suggestions?

This sounds like a Project Server question.Try posting on the
microsoft.public.project.server newsgroup (forum). Please see FAQ Item: 24.

I've seen this many times before. The best thing is to wait a bit for
project to finish shutting down before you try and restart.

I have waited several hours and winproj.exe still hasn't closed out by
itself. Do you have any other tips?
