I run Word 97 under Win 98. When shutting the program down
I get the error message saying Word 97 has caused an
illegal operation and will be shut down.
Details window says:
WINWORD caused an invalid page fault in
module OLE32.DLL at 0167:7ff42b66.
The details on Registers:, Bytes, Stack dump:. etc are
also displayed. When the program appears to close I still
have a Winword process running according to the CTRL-ALT-
DEL window. Files appear to save to HDD OK.
I have reinstalled Office 97, reloaded ole32.dll, upgraded
to SR2, looked extensively at similar (but not the same)
problem fixes. The problem only occurs with Winword. Also
the Equation Editor no longer works. Can anybody please
help resolve this problem.
