with new DSL, outlook 2003 will no longer send

Four different tech support people with ISP tell me my accounts are
configured correctly. All four also suggest that Outlook must have been
corrupted at some point. I can receive just not send. So, back to the
original question...can I reinstall Outlook without losing contacts,
calendar, etc.?

Yes, reinstalling doesn't touch your data. Backups are always good for peace of mind, though. And I'd try Help | Detect and Repair before reinstalling.

When you use you old e-mail account by your new DSL-provider this can give
problems.
change the smtp-server into the smtp-server of you new provider.
