Won't take CD Key Number

I had to reformat my hard drive. I tried to reinstall Microsoft Office 2000 and it will not accept my Key CD number. I registered this program - Everything in HELP seems to need that number - how can I get it without making a .99 cent a minute phone call?

I would hope no one would be stupid enough to give you their keycodes,
especially on a public forum such as this.

You are typing in the number incorrectly, there are no o's in it for
instance

1) Lose the caps - it's considered yelling, is incredibly rude and makes
your posts very hard to read.

2) Chances are his serial won't work for you - not that anyone's going to
be stupid enough to give theirs to you.

1) That isn't the installation key, so no wonder you're having problems!
The installation key is alpha-numeric.

2) If that *had* been the key, you're *INCREDIBLY* stupid posting it
here.

3) The installation key is printed on a golden-yellow sticker marked "do
not lose this number!" if retail, or on some form of documentation that came
with your computer (I have never bought a computer, I've always built my
own, so I wouldn't know).

What a cretin!
