Word 2000 errors on XP machine

Hello,

I have continual Word errors on my XP machine with word
2000 and outlook. It seems to only occur when using word
as the email editor in outlook. My machine is up to date
with all OS and Office patches and upgrades. sometimes
it ask about "normal.dot" and whether I wanted to keep
it? As of late when it errors, it blows out my email
signatures that I created which is a pain. Any ideas?

No kidding.....I get them all the time. what's the
answer? Not use it?
