Word 2002 and edit picture command

I paste print screens into a Word doc. I right click and
want the edit picture command and it is greyed out. I've
checked tools/options to see what my piture editor is and
can't seem to figure out what I am missing to gain this
command. Any ideas? I've done this task before on other
computers with Word. I don't know what the difference is
between those computers/version of Word and mine.
