word 2002 - annoying black line selection as I write

M

Mata-ó-Racha

Hello

I am, having a problem with word 2002. Everytime I start typing, a
black line appears from the left to the right of the "paper". I only
have to write a character and this annoying selection of all the line
appears. Every paragraph I make, increases the selection. But, if I
move the scroll bar down and up again, the selection disapears. But,
one more character and, again, the selection.

I've changed the mouse, the keyboard and the screen resolution but the
problem is not there. I think I've changed something in word 2002, but
I don't know what.

Or is this a bug?

Thanks in advance,

It sounds as though you may have Tracked Changes turned on. Look
at the bottom of your screen and see if you see TRK darkened. If
not, then also check your tabs, because another way to "draw" a
vertical line down your document is to have a bar tab setup.

Let us know.
