Word 2002-Convert Field Code to Text

Hi all. I've created a Word 2002 doc with Form Field Codes to be filled in by me. Then I want to convert the Form Field Codes to text to pass along to the next user. (Basically, I auto fill part of the form and the next user fills in the rest but without field codes.) I thought this could be done (at least in Word 98) but can't figure it out. Any ideas, thoughts or suggestions are greatly appreciated. Thank you. Brent

Hi, Brent,

After you fill the form fields, unprotect the document. Select the
area that contains the form fields (or the whole document, if there
are no other fields that should remain as fields). Press Ctrl+Shift
+F9 to unlink the selected fields, which converts their contents to
plain text.
