word 2002 doc closes abruptly

Hi,

One of the gold certified partner faces problem with a
particular document.

The doc closes abruptly while modify.(word program)

1.No error messages
2.Only on his PC.
3.Others can open and modify this doc file.

Windows XP SP1 and Office XP Pro SP1.

Any help apprecited.

Hi,

Thanks for the reply. But the specific tip didnt work for
the partner.

Suggested few more work arounds.
========
1. Reboot PC and try Winword /a . Make sure Outlook is not
running.
2. Create a NEW local user and try opening the document
under that user.

In the mean time if anyone could come across with some
information it will be very much appreciated.
