Word 2003 and Clipart Searches - Why does Word "hang"...?

....Several colleagues and I have noticed that sometimes when we search for
certain keywords in the Clip Art pane, Word won't display the clips but
instead "hangs". We have to invoke the Task Manager and end Word, then rely
on the document being recovered. By using the same keywords on different
computers, we can replicate this problem - is it anything to do with the
number of pieces of clip art being found (too many?).

Open Clip Organizer -Start | All Programs | Microsoft Office | Microsoft
Office Tools

Under Tools Menu select Compact

Thanks for the tip. I tried it, but unfortunately Word still hangs - very
frustrating.

Try a search with Office Online turned off and see if Word still hangs.
